Aedan is of the belief that more beers = more ideas.
Known as the ‘BAR’ in Bar Pop and one half of the directorship, Aedan is the go to for all things licensing, partnerships and marketing. A man of many hats, he also leads Perth Bar Staff, a Western Australian staffing company with more than 12,000 of Perth’s best hospitality crew.
When Aedan is not Bar Popping you can find him sipping on craft beer, cookin' up a lamb on the webber, cruising around Mount Lawley in his 1970 Fairlane or scouting new ideas for Perth’s next pop-up experience.
DIRECTOR Overseeing Event Operations & Finance
If Aedan is the ‘BAR’, Chris is definitely the ‘POP’.
The logistical and financial genius behind the company’s operations, Chris oversees site builds, event operations and keeps the company running smoothly. For him, getting to be hands-on is one of the most exciting aspects of seeing any event come together. As well as that, he is currently focusing on the next iterations of exciting products to come from the Bar Pop team.
In his own time, you can find him curating his wine collection, eyeing up new indoor plants or chasing his taste for outdoor adventures around Australia.
STAFFING & EVENTS MANAGER
Jemma holds a Bachelor of Science- Kinesiology from the University of Maryland and handles all staff recruitment, training and scheduling and also acts as a venue manager for all major events. Along with this, Jemma captained the West Australian Hockey team for the past 3 years.
SITE & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Managing event logistics and site operations, Brett studied a Bachelor of Arts (Arts Management) at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and brings with him more than 15 years’ of management and technical experience within the events industry.
PARTNERSHIPS & ACTIVATIONS MANAGER
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts, double major in Psychology from the University of Western Australia and has significant ties within the Western Australian creative arts community. Alongside the Bar Pop creative team, Hannah has produced major activations for Falls Festival, Corona, Mr. Black and Uber Eats.
FUNCTIONS MANAGER & ARTIST LIAISON
Overseeing a corporate functions portfolio of more than $250,000, Emily sells and manages all of Bar Pop’s function packages and handles artist liaison for the group.
Across 13 years in the event management industry, Emily has had her career take her to incredible places all over the world.
As someone who loves being kept on her toes, she has been integral to the success of countless memorable events. From national and international tour management through to large scale catering events, she’s done it all.
You’ll find her on the weekends indulging in her love of great food, wine and live music!
Specialising in Digital Event Marketing, Heather holds a double degree in Public Relations and Performance Studies, and has worked on campaigns for several large scale events including the Beaufort Street Festival and Winter Festival Australia.
Ryan holds a Double Degree in Creative Advertising and Graphic Design from Curtin University. Overseeing the creation of festival brands and campaigns across print, 3D and digital formats, Ryan has been in the design industry for 5 years. He has worked with national and international brands including Nike, Google and KeepCup.
